Giving

Many of us express belonging through Sundays, small groups and serving teams.
Giving financially is another key way we partner with what God is doing among us.

We're so thankful for the generosity of those who give regularly to Southside.
Thank you for partnering with us in our vision to see Bristol transformed by the love and power of God.

Giving is at the heart of our discipleship. That's because generosity helps us become more like Jesus.

How does giving work at Southside?

Southside is a congregation of the Woodlands Church Family, a registered charity.

The Southside leadership team operates within an annual budget based on the giving received from the Southside congregation.
This means your giving sustains ministry week by week — supporting our team, welcoming guests, and creating spaces where children, young people and adults encounter Jesus.

You can set up your regular or one-off giving to general funds using the button below (remember to tick the gift aid box if you’re a tax payer!):

Once a month, we also take a Sunday offering to support our global OR local mission partners.
But you can also give a one-off gift or set up regular giving to our Global and Local Mission Fund using the button below

What happens to the money?

At Woodlands Group of Churches, good stewardship of people’s giving is a high priority. The Trustees regularly monitor the financial position of the church and the financial systems in place and operate to agreed annual budgets.

As a registered charity (number 1125029), we take seriously the need to comply with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including obtaining an annual independent audit of our accounts.

If you have any questions about giving please contact the Finance Team.
