What to expect at Southside?
Expect a warm welcome as you enter the building.
Our Welcome team will show you around, and help you get a tea or coffee from our refreshments team.
We begin our services with a time of contemporary worship, and sharing in family news, before our children and young people leave to go to their groups - Adventurers (for those up to year 6), and Devotion (for youth in years 7 and above)
We then have another time of sung worship, before a Bible based message.
Often there is then a worship response during which prayer ministry will be offered.
On 2nd Sundays of the month we also share in Communion together. Our communion is always non-alcoholic and gluten free.
Prayer is foundational to all we do.
As well as prayer forming part of our private devotional life, we love to gather together to pray. These are some ways you can do that.
Every Friday morning - 8am - 8:30am during term time on Zoom.
Every Sunday before the start of our service: 2.30 - 2.45 pm at Victoria Park Baptist Church.
Twice a month, we head out on prayer walks to pray around South Bristol.
